1. The scope of the services offered by EUROCITIZEN and its business partners comprises in obtaining citizenships certificates and transcription of civil records in the country of which the nationality is being requested. The application for the respective European passport must be made in person by the applicant at nearest consulate of the country in question, after the above mentioned scope of services is concluded. Neither EUROCITIZEN nor its business partners are responsible for making consular appointments on behalf of the applicant, although they may do so in some cases out of mere liberality.
2. Once EUROCITIZEN's or its business partners’ services are contracted, the list of documents required for the European citizenship process will be sent to the applicant and the applicant shall physically submit all documents contained in said list to the service provider within three (3) calendar months. After this period, EUROCITIZEN and/or its business partners, as well as their representatives and/or employees, will be released from the provision of the services contracted without any reimbursement being due and will evaluate on a case-by-case basis the feasibility of following the procedures by mere liberality.
3. Neither EUROCITIZEN nor its business partners have any links to or exert any influence on the governmental bodies within which the citizenship proceedings are handled, and are therefore not responsible for the processing time of the requests, which are filed individually. It is EUROCITIZEN's and its business partners’ obligation, however, to monitor the progress of the procedures in the responsible institutions and report them to customers only in the following situations:
- If the public authorities request any additional documents;
- When the public authorities complete the procedures.
4. As sworn translations are a service that may be outsourced by EUROCITIZEN and its business partners, the value of this service may not be included in the advisory fees paid to EUROCITIZEN and/or its business partners and will be calculated individually by the service provider, depending on the amount of documents necessary for the services contracted. Payment for sworn translations must be made directly to the translator, in the currency and bank account indicated in due time.
5. If, throughout the process, it becomes necessary to hire other professionals, such as document researchers, for example, EUROCITIZEN and its business partners may recommend such professionals to the applicant, and it is up to the applicant to choose to hire them or other professionals of their choice that provide the same type of service. Payments for these services must be made directly to these professionals, at the time, currency and account indicated by them, and EUROCITIZEN and its business partners are exempt from any responsibility for their services and the amounts paid to them.
6. The reimbursement of the down payment of the advisory fees, paid to either EUROCITIZEN or its business partners when contracting their services, will only be due in cases where the application for the desired European citizenship is denied due to an error in the procedures committed by the contracted company, such as loss of deadlines and corelated professional misconduct. European citizenship applications denied due to lack of supplementary documentation, delay in payment of sworn translations, incorrect information provided by the applicant during the analysis phase or even by withdrawal of the process by the applicant will not be refundable.
